Classes are offered to anyone in the community even if they are not regular Healing Center guests. Anyone with a thirst for learning may attend. Whether you need to get prepared for college, improve workplace skills, or just want to be able to better use the computer in your retirement, the Healing Center is a great place for learning.
Classes in Computer Basics, Google, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel are offered five times per week in the newly renovated Healing Center computer lab.
The focus of these classes is to develop computer skills by using hands on activities and teacher guided lessons. Classes are available for anyone who would like to increase their computer skills, whether it be for personal development, increasing job skills, or just to make it easier on you working on your computer at home.

Do you need to earn your GED? Did you or someone you know not finish high school? The GED program at the Healing Center is the first step in changing your future.
To obtain a GED requires hard work and dedication and the Educational Leaders at the Healing Center are committed to guiding you through the process.
The orientation to our GED program will provide you with a plan for how you will work toward this next goal in your life and give you real strategy to overcome the obstacles that have prevented you from finishing High School or achieving your GED in the past.
The GED program is offered year round and once you have completed orientation you can work on your study through an online account provided to you.
Three class times and independent study times are available each week. We look forward to walking with you through this process.
The orientation takes place each month on the first Wednesday morning and first Thursday morning each month. Please give us your information to register.

The ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) program, formerly ESL, helps to develop listening and speaking skills and prepares students to function in educational, vocational and personal English-speaking contexts.
Classes are offered at The Healing Center four times a year (spring, summer, fall & winter) with a two week break before the next quarter begins.
You may join us at anytime in the term. Just come to one of the classes; registration and language assessment happen on your first visit. Free Childcare available in the Kid's Clubhouse.

Do you question if you are in the right job? Do you need some help to understand what work is supposed to be like?
Jobs for Life is a 10-week program that teaches timeless biblical principles and connects them to today’s workplace challenges.
Participants receive training and support in their job searches as they discover who they are, their God-given talents, and tools needed to overcome roadblocks.
Students develop a vocational plan, complete a career assessment, and join a network of people who want to see each other reach their God-given potential.
